THE OBJECTIVE

Provide professional liability coverage specifically for the operations of a Farmers Agency.

HOW WILL THIS BE ACCOMPLISHED?

By providing competitive terms to all qualified agents with a policy form designed specifically for insurance agency operations and allowing each agency to be rated on their own record.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO DO THIS?

Coverage is excluded under the current group policy if you fail to provide an available Farmers coverage to your Farmers insured that would have covered your insured's loss. Farmers Group Inc. is the sponsor, policy owner and a named insured in conjunction with the agency force and the policy is written primary to benefit Farmers with the agency force paying the premium.

Farmers Group, Inc. is an agent of Arch for agent claims, so Farmers personnel handle all claims, Farmers or non-Farmers.

HOW CAN I COMPARE THE DIFFERENCE?

There are links below to presentations providing a coverage comparison between the current Farmers Group, Inc. and the proposed Agents Association plan. A sample proposed policy form is provided and the agent's association website will provide you with a copy of the current Farmers Group, Inc. policy form.

IF I COMPLETE AN APPLICATION WILL MY INFORMATION BE SECURE?

This is a private and secure site and is provided as a service for Career and Full Time Farmers Insurance Group Agents. This site is not affiliated in any way with Farmers Group, Inc. and no individual information will be provided to any party other than the program administrator and the association plan insurer.

AM I REQUIRED TO HAVE MY COVERAGE WITH THE FARMERS PLAN?

No, your participation in the Farmers Group Plan is voluntary and you may insure wherever you wish. Your contract does not require you to carry coverage or provide proof of coverage to the company or your DM. You may change coverage at any time during the year by written request to the company benefits department.
